1-2-1 guitar lessons.

My name is Mark James.

I've been playing for 25 years.

Teaching for 6 years.

I'll be honest I don't like these cold introductions.

A phone call or a one to one meeting is always the best way to get to know someone.

So I'll do you a deal.

Lessons are usually £14 for 45minutes but let's be fair if I'm not the right person for you then you'll know within the first 15 minutes.

As I've previously mentioned, I've been playing guitar for 25+ years

And teaching for 6 of those.

As a musician I can play Guitar, Banjo, Ukelele, Bass, Piano badly, Drums like an arthritic monkey and harmonica like a strangled cat.

As a guitarist I can play virtually any style, apart from Jazz bleh!

I'm excited by both Rhythm and Lead.

My favourite styles of playing include Country, Rock, Punk, Indie, Fingerpicking and Slide.

As a songwriter I'm fascinated by music in general and as such I've touched on all genres in my playing and writing.

I've played in live bands since the age of 15 but for the last 5/6 years I've played as a solo artist.

I also write and record under the moniker Back Bone Shiver
