As well as offering guitar lessons I also offer advice and tuition involving recording. Wether that is advice on how to write a song, construct a peice of music or how to produce music on a budget or using my facilities.
I operate a fully functional project studio which is open to students who require such services, wether that is for a demo recording or sessions on how to use certain software and equipment.
My project studio is based around a AMD dual processor PC with 4gb memory and 2 UAD cards installed. This setup offers a lot of processing power.
I have an assortment of guitars, amps and microphones as well as outboard guitar effects and pc based vst effects I can accomdate most sounds.
The DAW(recording software) I use is primarily Sonar 7 with Adobe Audition to edit and master.
Other software I use includes Garritan Personal Orchestra, Toontrack Drums and UAD mixing and mastering VST plugins alongside other less known free vst plgins available on the net.
I wouldn't class myself as a studio engineer but rather a musician who has experience with project equipment and someone who believes he can get decent results.
